America

I was reminded tonight via a movie of how ungrateful I am. We have so much for which to be thankful. We live in America where we can have anything that we "need" not to mention anything that we want from computers to washers and dryers. I take so many things for grated. I have also been reminded of how much I see the Bible through the lens of an American. God is not limited to the American mindset. He doesn't work in an American way. He works in His own way. We don't live in a country of civil unrest, but we do live in a country of tolerance. Edmund Burke said, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing.’
